ABOUT GORLAMI
GORLAMI: You hear the music of this band in the smoky bar of a crumbling intergalactic metropolis, after you've lost your job as a hyperspace pilot. Cyberpunk meets film noir, blurring the line between dystopia and reality, dream and truth. They create melodic post-rock with a neo-psychedelic touch.
Founded in 2010 and in their current lineup since 2017, the band consists of four members: two guitarists, a drummer, and a singer. Hailing from the northern part of Switzerland, they are true do-it-yourself artists, meticulously crafting everything by hand, from the lyrics to the melodies to the album cover.
After several performances in the northeastern part of Switzerland, the band released their debut album "FACE OF STEEL" in 2020. This concept album is available on music platforms as well as in physical CD format. In 2021-2022, they followed up with their second album "BETWEEN TWO WORLDS," exploring the transition between reality and dream, featuring a captivating three-part symphony. The vinyl version of the album is limited to 200 copies.
In summary, this band creates a fascinating blend of melodic post-rock and neo-psychedelia, transporting listeners to decaying metropolises and bewildering dreams. Let this music play out fantastic cinematic scenes in your mind's eye and drift away into worlds somewhere between reality and illusion.
